Rebranding for Democratic Party
Following the election that secured Trump’s second term as president, Democrats now face a new challenge: finding fresh leadership. Some Democrats have begun to gain traction—most notably Zohran Mamdani and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who currently top the list of frontrunners for 2028.
Although these two candidates appear to be the most likely leaders of the party, Governor Gavin Newsom has recently shown renewed interest in entering the race. While he had long denied any intention to run for office, his stance seems to be shifting amid growing disunity within the party. Several of his potential campaign slogans have reportedly been leaked to the press:
“Make the whole country more like Southern L.A.”
“Have you ever looked at your country and wanted more unrest?”
“Only you can stoke forest fires.”
